Display manufacturers have quickly propelled the adoption of Ultra HD/4K into the Pro-AV and residential space. However, with native 4K content still catching up, installers are faced with the challenges of integrating 4K with existing HD infrastructures. In such multi-format systems that require multiple video signals of varying resolutions to be sent to multiple displays, full-featured image scaling is critical to the system's performance.
The UHD-Scaler-FC is the latest addition to the company’s HDTools™ product line, providing high performance upscaling and downscaling capabilities at UHD resolutions with frame conversion support. PureLink's UHD-Scaler-FC simplifies installation and solves many of the challenges involved in Full HD/Ultra HD interoperation including signal loss from mismatched resolutions or EDID/ HDCP version issues.
The UHD-Scaler-FC accepts a wide range of input resolutions, from 480i up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and output resolutions of up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 (with digital and analog audio extraction).
Previously announced: HDMI 2.0 Extension - the HCE III Tx/Rx and HTE III Tx/Rx extender pairs are the industry's first HDMI 2.0 compliant HDBaseT™ extension systems supporting full 4K@60Hz 4:4:4.
