PureLink's new VIP-NET 1G & 10G Switches Provide Flexible and Reliable Connectivity to Enterpise IP Video Management Systems
PureLink announces a new line of network switches purpose-built to enhance performance and simplify management of IP Video matrix switching systems. The new VIP-NET series of switches is available in 1G and 10G-capable models featuring 1000Base-T, 10GE, and 1000Base-X SFP+ Fiber port combinations. All models offer the ability to interconnect multiple units to create large scale matrices of video inputs and outputs.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with the PureStream™ VIP-200 and VIP-100H-U encoder/decoder modules, the VIP-NET switch models provide full HD and UltraHD A/V over IP transport. Together with advanced technologies, the VIP-NET series affords worry free design, installation and operation:
• Flexible Port Expansion - optional 10G slots support various sub-cards
• Wire-speed Replication - supports multicast packets between VLANs and multicast load balancing among member interfaces
of a trunk
• Easy integration and maintenance - supports SNMP, RMON, Web NMS, and Telnet
